When the youngest member of their coven decides to make off from the mountains of Lancre to the big city to launch her career in the Opera - Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax feel it their bounden duty not to interfere ... well not much ! But when they arrive at the Opera they find all is not well - a mysterious Ghost in evening dress stalks the boards wreaking havoc and causing despair to the new owner. And that chandelier doesn't look too safe either ...

This is Terry Pratchett at his very best - a glorious send up of the Phantom of the Opera - comic characters and a thoroughly hilarious plotline.
