SATA is a not for profit organisation based in the UK.
As a Member, the only information we ask for is your name and contact details. Subject to your consent, we will use this information to contact you from time to time regarding the activities of the group, for example: to advertise forthcoming events; or to provide further information on an event you have signed up for.
Members can view and update the information we have for them at any time using functionality provided by the website and likewise opt in or out of receiving notifications. If a member wishes to download their details in an electonic format or have their details deleted altogether, this can be requested via an email to email@example.com.
As a Customer buying tickets to our events we ask you to provide a name and an email address. This information is used for contractual purposes only, for example: to send you your e-ticket; or to notify you of a contingency such as your show being cancelled. The ticket payments themselves are managed through an external provider (PayPal), and SATA does not hold, or indeed have any access to, account information or credit card details which the customer enters for the purchase.
Customer information, such as it is, can be requested, updated, downloaded or deleted at any time via an email request made to firstname.lastname@example.org. Customer information is in any case deleted six months after the show or event it pertains to, unless there is a need to preserve contact details, for example if there is an ongoing dispute over a payment.
Whether a Member or Customer: we will never give or sell any of the information you provide to us to third parties; we will never use or subscribe to internet tracking services or the ilk; we will make minimum use of browser cookies consistent with keeping the site secure; and we will do our best to protect any information you do provide to us by using secure transmission techniques and keeping our system as up to date with the latest security measures as we can.
