SATA is a not for profit organisation based in the UK.
The only information we ask from you is your name and contact details, and this is used only should we need to get in touch with you, say, in the event of an issue regarding a ticket sale, or to advertise our forthcoming events.
We will do our best to protect any information you do provide to us by using secure transmission techniques and keeping our system as up to date with the latest security measures as we can.
We will never give or sell any of the information you provide to us to third parties. We make minimum use of browser cookies consistent with keeping the site secure, and we will never use or subscribe to internet tracking services or the ilk.
Members can view and update the information we have for them at any time using functionality provided by the website. Membership details will be deleted altogether if the member requests this via an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or when their membership ceases.
Customer information provided when purchasing event tickets is held for up to six months after the event in question in case of any subsequent enquiry, then deleted. The ticket payments themselves are managed through an accredited external provider, and SATA does not hold, or indeed have any access to, any credit card details or other account information the customer uses for the purchase.
